These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Britannia Youth Organisation website and our services. By accessing our website or participating in our programmes, you agree to these Terms.
Britannia Youth Organisation ("BYO", "we", "us", or "our") is a Community Interest Company registered in England and Wales. We provide youth programmes and activities for young people aged 6-17 in the Hodge Hill constituency and north Yardley areas of Birmingham.
Programme Participation
Guidelines for parents, guardians, and young people.
Registration
Parents/guardians must provide consent for young people under 16 to participate.
- Forms must be accurate.
- Update medical info promptly.
- We reserve the right to refuse participation for safety.
Conduct
Young people participating in BYO programmes are expected to:
- Treat staff and peers with respect.
- Follow instructions from staff.
- Comply with Anti-Bullying policies.
Parent Responsibility
Parents and guardians are responsible for:
- Ensuring punctual attendance.
- Collecting young people promptly.
- Reading safeguarding policies.

Safeguarding
BYO is committed to safeguarding young people. All staff and volunteers undergo DBS checks and receive safeguarding training. If you have concerns, contact us immediately.

We may take photographs for records, website content, and impact reporting. Parents/guardians will be asked for consent. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Health & Safety
All activities are risk-assessed. Staff are trained in first aid. Parents must inform us of medical conditions or allergies.
Fees & Payments
Programmes are currently free or minimal cost. We reserve the right to introduce fees with notice or request donations.
Liability
While we take reasonable precautions, parents acknowledge inherent risks. BYO is not liable for minor injuries during normal activities, except where caused by negligence.
